The Rising Tide Society is a networking organization of creative entrepreneurs that gather in the spirit of community over competition. We believe that "a rising tide lifts all boats".
As creators, we know how important it is to be connected to others and learn from each other. We've all experienced what it's like to get stuck and trying to deal with it alone never seems to work out. Everyone has something to give, and you'll find that the more you pour out, the more you'll be filled.
Our group doesn't charge membership dues. We welcome all types of small business owners & creative entrepreneurs – whether you're a seasoned professional with many years of experience or you're just starting out.
Our meetups are located in the Lower Hudson Valley area of New York. We welcome anyone based in or near: Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, or Ulster County. (We also have some members from Upper Hudson Valley, Western Connecticut, and North Jersey as well!)
Thanks for signing up to receive updates, we look forward to seeing you at our next meeting or event!
Our meeting dates and times vary, so that all types of members have a chance to attend. We typically meet on weekday mornings, afternoons, or evenings at a local shop, cafe, studio space, or venue. You can find out about our next meeting by joining our email list, checking for the next event on our Facebook page, or keeping an eye out for updates on our Instagram account.
Our group is made up of small business owners, creative entrepreneurs, artists, wedding professionals, caterers, shop owners, event planners, designers, florists, stylists, service professionals, makeup artists, videographers, writers, bloggers, and many more. All are welcome!
Our meet-ups are gatherings for small business owners to share knowledge, learn from their peers, network, collaborate, and grow together. The meetings, coordinated by your co-leaders Martine and Lin, are approachable, authentic, and uplifting. Sometimes we discuss an overarching topic, sometimes we have a guest speaker, sometimes we volunteer for the community, and other times we just get together to talk about life and business.
